This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we only collect what we need to answer you, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
Agencian is an independent design studio based in Lisbon, Portugal. We are the controller for the personal data collected through this website. For anything related to your data, write to hello@agencian.studio and a real person will answer within one working day.
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional), the services you are interested in, your budget range and what you tell us about your project.
Newsletter: your email address.
Emails and calls: whatever you choose to share when you write to us or book an intro call.
Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type and the pages you visit, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal — steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.
To send the newsletter — based on your consent, which you can withdraw with one click in any issue or by emailing us.
To keep the website secure and understand, in aggregate, how it is used — our legitimate interest in running a reliable site.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell it.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under a data processing agreement: Framer, which hosts this website, its forms and its visitor statistics, and our email provider. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless we start working together.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Client records: for as long as Portuguese accounting and tax law requires.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@agencian.studio and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, access to enquiries is limited to the people who answer them, and we review our providers’ security practices before we use them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the newsletter.
